Jacob's Operating Patterns
This is the meta index for reusable patterns, workflows, and operating principles that should survive beyond one conversation or project.
Use this page for patterns that answer: "How should we do this kind of thing next time?"
Knowledge and Publishing
- Using WikiHub as Jacob's LLM Wiki - use WikiHub as a hosted, linkable, agent-readable memory surface with explicit public/unlisted/private layers.
- How to Save Conversation Notes - save a shareable synthesis note, link it to a private raw source, and deliberately promote visibility only after review.
Candidate Pattern Categories
- Conversation capture and source trails.
- Personal gateway / local-first publishing flows.
- Agent orchestration and handoff loops.
- Private-to-unlisted-to-public promotion rules.
- Project memory, artifacts, and review surfaces.
- Function-defined personal software namespaces.
Rule for New Patterns
When a useful workflow emerges, save it as its own page and add it here. A good pattern page should include:
- The short name of the pattern.
- When to use it.
- The default workflow.
- Privacy or safety boundaries.
- Links to examples where the pattern was used.
- Open questions or known failure modes.
